Watermelon Salsa On a bed of romaine, with a parmesan and cream cheese sauced pasta with chicken. It was good. Elaborated for Karin Those are red onions in the watermelon salsa, it's one of those sweet-savory sort of things....

I updated the post with the ingredients (recipe? what's a recipe?) and comments on whether or not people liked it. I shouldn't have used an inclusive "we" for just Dale and I :) but I didn't want it to sound negative, LOL

now I want to try it! I had and liked peach salsa (with tomatoes AND peaches)... though like the peach salsa I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one to try, or like, watermelon salsa. Sigh.

peach and tomato ....I can't envision it. What else was in it?

Oh, the watermelon salsa is also supposed to have a little fresh hot chile of some sort ... I added some cayenne in lieu of that ... but I wished I had a brightly colored spicy something minced in there ...

hmm, I didn't make the peach salsa, so I'm guessing... peaches, tomatoes, onions, maybe red bell peppers(?), cumin, vinegar, garlic, jalapenos and salt, I think. There may have been some sugar as well but I would have liked it better less sweet than it was.
