I must really rely on my naps -- a couple days in a row without one (wait, did I get one yesterday? I don't remember) and I'm pooped. Speaking of poop (ha!) I emailed a local "pet adoption" shelter and...

glad to see you have your priorities straight.

and with the knitting? I have a hard time following directions too, that's probably why my mitten looked like a boxing glove.

Glad you've hit your stride. Don't worry about it, I predict I'll hit mine about noon tomorrow. Woulda hit it today, but had a child develop the sudden barfs at the park which threw me all outta whack.

Maybe we should just write this week off.

Oh I like it when the clothes are still damp. Then I have to just turn on the dryer some more.

It sounds like you figured out your dishcloth situation on your own? I didn't see anyone 'splain what you wrote at the knitting forum! In fact, I didn't get it at all. Those washcloths must be very complex. I'm trying to buy a size 17 wooden knitting needle for my ladder yarn. No luck yet.

I know *any* crying is hard on the Mamma. I feel for you both! Hugs, ~Lil

I had to laugh at your "too soon"/"so long" comparison. Ain't it the truth!

I did the same thing three times (even the last time with your needles and cotten) because of course the symetery demanded it all in one row...I always frogged it out too soon to see the difference...Glad you solved it for both of us! and I didn't even need to finish the swatch! So much for experienced knitter, Moog

I think the Kung Fu thing is awesome. I esp have thought Gark could use some good physical outlets. Are the girls interested in trying it?

From what you've said in the past, I'm not sure your cats have serious litter box issues that couldn't be changed by more vigilant cleaning of the litterbox. What if you kept the cats upstairs for a few weeks to see if that makes a difference and then see about adopting them out? Oh, and keep the litterbox upstairs, too. Maybe a family project could be giving them lots of attention and play to get them ready for a new home. Having had many serious poop problems with CamillaCat, I know whereof I speak, unfortunately.
