Yay knitting! Doesn't look half-way yet to me (which is 44 stitches). I have one of those on needles right now, I was working on it this morning. Personally if I ran out of yarn before I finished I would run to the store for another ball. But I love to buy yarn. Ask my kids. Or my husband.

Wow. You're really doing a great job! And Iliacat - fantastic! I hear that the younger they learn these things the more "natural" it comes to them. Explains why I can't use knitting needles for anything other than backscratchers.

You both are doing a great job. I asked Jim if I could learn to knit. Maybe after the holidays. Why do I always want toadd something big in the middle of 10 different projects?

Well, I say "Go for it!" Looks like you might be able to finish it up with what you have. And if not, then do what Tess said and frog one you are not happy with, or like Marcia, use it as an excuse to get more yarn!

not their real names. you know that cat on milo and otis. he so reminded me of him and his poor mother who was determined not to yell until she had milo.

hey, you're doing pretty good on the knitting. my husband noticed some gray hairs on his head and he took a look at me and said, why aren't you going gray, you're older than i am, and i said, color my dear. so who knows, i may have gray lurking up there somewhere but it gets wiped out about once every 2 months.

Oh I'm glad I saw the photos. What fun. What a lot Iliacat (and you, heh) have done. Isn't it funny that you and I, independent of each other, both started learning knitting at the same time?

I think it's such a coinkadink.

The stuff is all reeeeally pretty. I would even like to see the hat on a model. I'm undecided about making a hat.
