Speaking of Fried Brains

I told you my brain isn't working right lately, didn't I?

So today at lunch I go to make my 3 year old a sandwich. He requests Brod (bread) and meat (bologna) and dees (cheese) and dat (that: salami) ... so I assemble the sandwich to be a half-sandwich and cut it in half.

When I am cutting I am somewhat perplexed that it is difficult to cut. But I figure the cold salami could be slowing things down. And I push a little harder with the semi-sharp knife and smish-cut the sandwich and fold it in half. Or something. Details are foggy.

So then he goes to take a bite and says "Hey!"

And holds up his cheese.

Still wrapped.

Smished in half, in it's shiny clear wrapper.

The worst part about it is that I'm completely blank and befuddled. No recollection of putting on the cheese, wrapped.

Don't you think that's kind of scary?

You need to work with peanut butter and jelly. LOL! Poor kid. :)

Scary, no. Funny, yes!

Is there any possibility that said child "helped" make his sandwich, perhaps when you weren't looking?

AHA! That is too funny! What show was it that they said the plastic on the cheese was the best part????
I'll drive myself crazy trying to remember....

Sounds like it's time to lay down.
