Adorable snowmen! I LOVE snowmen! My Christmas ornaments are almost all snowmen because we can leave them up well past Christmas!

I also don't like crafty stuff. It makes such a mess and someone is always upset about how their item turns out. Then there's the throwing out problem. with five children, we don't have room to store ALL the crafts EVERYONE makes. They fuss and holler when it's time to dispose of their creations as if I were killing their little children.

But we have done several this year and they have really enjoyed it. And the mess was able to be cleaned up eventually!

I'm a snowflake, but the quiz didn't have the best answers for me to choose from, so I just had to pick.

Do tell, where did you find your craft project? I used to be hugely crafty when we were in a house. I mean, kid crafty. I loved to set up art projects.

Your tree is absolutely beautiful!

Hey, thanks everyone! :)

Liliana, we did these when my oldest were 2 and 3.5 or so at a Mommy & Me outing. Every year when I pull them out I think "we should do this again". We just made them from memory, but here are directions

Maybe I'll surf around for some more easy crafts. I like to have the kids' work as decor.

Well, I'm a bow, too, Christina, but that's alright! I really do tend to live in the present, so this fits me.

Kim, I love your tree! Christmas trees aren't about being decorator perfect--it's all about the memories, and your's looks like it could tell some stories about your family.

Your little snowmen are adorable, too. I bet the kids had a great time making them with you.

I have several trees on my tree, too - felt, Fimo, salt clay and Perler - although I have always laughed about the idea that I'm using a tree to decorate a tree. It is silly when you think about it. Maybe the next tree I make will have tiny tree ornaments on it, that would be funny :o)

Your tree is so cute. I love the hat on the top! I've never seen that before.

I have a soft spot for snowmen myself...they are so cozy-looking. Except that real snowmen are made of snow, which is in fact quite cold. *looks at fingernails* What was I saying? =P

Oh, the hat at the top. Ha ha. That's a funny thing. Because I threw it up there because we don't have a star or angel. Some years we've put the children's paper plate angel up there, but it topples off. And this year, since I didn't finish decorating when I had the stool out to do the lights? I never brought the stool BACK. So the ornaments only reach as high as I can reach. So ... the top looked pretty bare. And Tobi-wan won that hat at as a door prize, so we put it on the tree. But we don't "do" Santa here, so I'm a little embarrassed to have the hat there. But it covers the bare top. LOL!
