T'Mahk Too - Comments on Taking a Breather ...

Whooooohhhh. That's me, taking a breather. I realized this afternoon, while wandering slowly and rather blankly at the grocery store, that my meager efforts to get the house ready for company had, proportionately, accomplished very little. And that the time...

Remember -- "All progress is good progress."

I just made that up. If it's an actual quote by an actual person, then I apologize.

Well, I hope you get what needs to be done before your guest arrives. Don't stay up too late.

Thanks to your use of "miles to go before I sleep", I am now thinking of a bad Charles Bronson movie entitled Telefon. Ever see it? It is about hidden Russians that get activated when someone calls them on the phone and recites part of that poem to them. Too bad I remember the poem from the bad movie and not from reading it in a poetry book. Another reason to homeschool right??

Good night friend.

Hiya! Good luck with the house cleaning and organizing. Getting ready for company is totally hectic!

We had that problem of bags spilling out of the pantry all the time. Hubby got fed up and suggested putting everything in containers. It has worked well so far! I got a lot of containers at the Dollar store, so it wasn't a terribly expensive effort.

Have a great time with your friends!!
:)

My wife has one of the those "cram the items in and close the door quick" cabinets. It's always fun when everything falls out upon opening it...especially when you have a 2 yr old who comes out of nowhere to investigate and make a mess of his own. :-)

Hello Dear Kim. I've been taking a little break from posting so much on forums and my blog this past week or so. Sometimes I just get to a point when I wonder if anyone really truly cares if I post or not. Most on-line friends were made at my invitation, not the other way around. So, I don't want to be a pest, so have been backing down a bit to see what happens.

The baby feet are my friend, Tara's 11 month old baby's feet while she was holding him on the 23rd. :)

Hugsssss to you, Kim. Happy happy happpppy New Year to you!

P.S. *Beautiful* Christmas picture of you and your family below! Love it. :)

Also, you are doing grand on your knitting projects. Looks like you and knitting were meant to be. I tried it and found myself floundering and never really "getting it". But, that's okay, because I am puttering around with an idea for a new quilt. One that will actually be something besides just blocks. My favorite block is the attic windows one.

God sidetracked. lol Felt suddenly and surprisingly chatty. Silly me. Have a good evening. Hugs, Robin ~
