Here's a great trick I picked up from the good doctor himself ~ this is a kimodification (of course) of a recipe from Dr. McDougall's Nov 2006 newsletter. That means it's a "legal" recipe ~ at least before my...

Any tips on how to get canned pumpkin into the house and hide it from hubby who'd chuck his brownies at the mere mention of the squash?

Looks excellent! I won't even tell you what the kids made for dinner last night.

I agree on the salt thing. I don't add salt when I'm cooking unless it's required for leavening. It also helps to use a balanced mineral salt instead of the nasty stuff at the supermarket.

Wahhhooooo! You go girl! :) You are doing fab on your walking.

We have that cake mix! And, up until Thanksgiving we had organic pumpkin, too. LOL Have you tried Dr. O's brownie mix? They are good, too. The pumpkin addition sounds awesome. Did I tell you taht we've been using Agave Nectar for about a year now? We use it fairly often and really like it. In fact, just used it this morning on some steel cut oats that were cooked with stevia and carob powder and topped with agave, coconut, walnuts and raisins. YUM

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend! Hugs!
