T'Mahk Too - Comments on More Fluff

Wow! You are brave for trying new things....I've never heard of that fruit.

BTW: When I was going through morning sickness with my second daughter, the only thing I could eat were these croissant rolls from a local restaurant. They were mini ones covered in butter and drizzled in honey. Yum.....

Wonder why I gained 72 pounds?????? ha, ha

I've never heard of goji berries either. And I'm quite sure that the early stages of pregnancy is not the time I'd be trying new and exciting food items. ;-)

Goji berries. That's a new one for me. Don't worry about fluff. I mean, what are blogs for anyway? I like reading the mundane things that people do during their day. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with food. I know, why don't you and a group of your friends have a cooking club? One person can make their favorite (preferably freezable) dish and make enough for the others in the group. Then the other person can do the same thing. You get the idea, right? Every body shares and you end up with a freezer of good food. But of course, you don't have to eat it if you don't feel like it . . .

Kim, you've been through this a few times, WHY are you thinking about trying new foods when your stomach is in rebellion??? You never cease to amaze me! (Of course you also give me a case of the giggles with your "fluff" writing!)

If you'll soak the goji berries in a little warm water (like you would a dried blueberry) and add it to muffins (be sure to use the soaking water too) they are not nearly as inedible! We like ours cooked in with oatmeal, or in trail mix (don't look, GL) with a LOT of other foods to mix up the flavor.

I've sampled the dried goji berries at Costco and thought they were pretty good. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that kind of price. :-) I hope your "morning" sickness doesn't last too much longer. I can only imagine how hard it would be to have to cook and not be able to tolerate smells. (((((hugs))))))

Hiya Miss Kim. I sampled some goji berries at Wild Oats and would have bought some had it not been for the high price. They were almost bland, but slightly sweet.
