I'm one of those weird ones who believe that the lion and the lamb will be joined with cats, birds and dogs all living in peace together in Heaven, and that those animals aren't strangers, but the pets we have loved here.

I am really looking forward to meeting Mogh (when he's not sitting on Jesus' lap getting a good ear scratch) in the next life.

Hug each other for me and be ye comforted with these words.

Kim...I'm so sorry. Been there, done that, and will probably face it again in the not-too-distant future with our remaining aging cat. It's a tough pill to swallow. Mogh was blessed to have a family that loved and cared for him.

I've missed a few blogs, so I thought I would comment on just this latest one.

I'm sorry about your cat. I know how devastating it is to lose a loved pet. I'm glad you were able to say goodbye. I'm also sorry about your back. Maybe you should see a chiropractor?

Your kids playing outside in the snow looks like fun. Even if it's melting snow. :-) Which only goes to show that you really are doing a great job parenting. Your kids are outside enjoying God's creation with their mom standing by watching them. I really think spending time with your kids is very important. And I've read enough blogs about what you all do to know that you spend time with your kids.

I didn't know much about keeping a house when I got married, but I learned. Didn't know how to grocery shop, but I learned. I didn't even know how to drive, but I learned. You don't have to teach your kids everything before they are grown. They'll learn things all their lives.

I always try to remember that God the Father is the perfect parent, yet look at His children. Even with just two He let them make their own mistaktes and it ruined His creation. But He let go. He gave them (us) free will. It broke His heart, but He also provided a way to make things right again. I read a lot about His anger burning agaist them, but He still loved them. And He disciplined them pretty harshly at times. We're not perfect and yet we expect our kids to turn out better than what God did. God's grace will carry my kids, just like it carries me, as both a child and a parent. I hope this wasn't too rambly. And it was meant to encourage you. I hope it does. ((((((HUGS))))))

Moghy Moghy
Furry friend
Purring boy
Soft and warm
Feline senses
Just himself
As they all are.
Meow meow
Farewell for now.
We loved you.
