Dear Blog Peeps
I. O. U. ~
* comments on your sites ~ I'm so lame! I know it! I'm sorry!
* pix of the birthday girls

* pix of my one remaining spiderwort, just because I love it
* funny stories and insightful rambles
but you'll just have to make do with this:
I'm tired of exercising nearly every day. It's hard work. Remember that little window of time when I claimed to like exercise? I really did think I liked it for awhile. But that's all gone now. I hate all the hard work and being hot and sweaty, no matter how often Leslie tells me not to hate sweating. And Leslie keeps saying I'll have more energy, too. What's up with that? I'm starting to think Leslie lies. I just want to crawl back in bed and sleep for a month.
I'm just sayin'.
Posted by Kim at June 13, 2007 9:25 AMAt least your honest with us. ;) I hope you find some energy today. I should drink my coffee and see if it wakes me up. So far, it isn't doing any good sitting there on the desk untouched.
Posted by: April at June 13, 2007 10:38 AMDiversify. A straight Leslie diet is not a great deal of fun.
(although you did say that you are doing T-Tapp now too, aren't you?)
Posted by: Rosanne at June 13, 2007 12:18 PMI'm just happy to know you are still among us!
Posted by: Theresa at June 13, 2007 1:49 PMthanks for saying. i always think people who say they like to exercise are lying. it's not fun. ever.
Posted by: chickadee at June 13, 2007 1:51 PMlying leslie ... lol!
Posted by: Liz at June 13, 2007 4:05 PMRight there with you...I hate exercise and sweating too!
Posted by: Mama Mia at June 13, 2007 7:28 PMKim,
Have you kicked the caffeine yet? Remember the time you liked exercise was when you had been off that dragon for awhile. Just a thought.
Posted by: Barbie at June 13, 2007 8:56 PMDear (((Kim))),
I could never will never just do the WATP dvds. That is why I stopped a few years ago and didn't keep plugging along, because I got burned out on WATP and then just stopped. Because, I'm not lying and I DO like to exercise. But, I have found that plain ole' walking (long distances) is what I like to do most often. And, I throw in some WATP and recumbant bicycling every now and then to keep it fresh. lol I'm finally out of my two week funkified funk. I'm praying for you to feel like your wonderful ole' self again very very very soon. Hugs, Robin
Posted by: Robin at June 14, 2007 12:26 AMWell, I'm not going to hold you to any of those IOUs if that makes things less stressful. ;-) Exercising should give you more energy. If it's not then there is probably an underlying health condition which is causing you to be tired. Your body has been through a lot in the last couple of months. You are probably still recuperating. Maybe you should slow it down a little and go every other day for a few weeks. (((((((hugs))))))))))
Posted by: Shari at June 14, 2007 12:41 AM:rofl: i know how you feel. it is hard to keep motivated with exercising. but just remember, you liked it once, you hate it now, you will probably like it again, and then hate it again. i think it just goes in cycles. just keep plugging away at it. it WILL be worth it in the end.
Posted by: karenzce at June 15, 2007 2:38 PMI'm in favor of sleeping as needed! It's actually better if you don't read my blog right now, too, because there's a dreadfully decadent Nutella post. Really dreadful. Still praying for you, in case the black Spidey gunk is hanging on.
Posted by: Judy at June 17, 2007 6:21 PMkim, i'm so sorry for my lapse in reading/posting also. i've been decidedly inconsistent! your sentiments regarding exercise are very much shared. i'm always suspicious when others tell me they enjoy exercise. i always wonder why i don't...well, i mean, i KIND of know why. it's because 1) i despise feeling hot and 2) sweating makes me feel cross and 3) um...it takes so much ENERGY! :-P ;-) of course, i honestly and sincerely wish i didn't feel this way. nothing would please me greater to find that i have a hidden passion for exercise which was simply lying dormant. *sigh* it almost makes me want to do some sit-ups. But i'm going to lie down until the feeling goes away. ;-)
