It hasn't snowed here since before Lucas was born, and then it was only enough for my kids to make a teeny tiny snowman of the hood of our car. And poor Lucas...he has seen enough Christmas shows on television to assume that it is supposed to snow at Christmas time, so if anyone asks him about Santa or Christmas, he nods gravely and tells them that all of that Christmas stuff will surely be upon us, just as soon as he sees the snow.
