Maybe not lazy. I might be sick. I don't know. Sick only counts if you are feverish or are throwing up, and I am neither. But my tummy hurt today, for unknown reasons. And with all the gastro-intestinal yuck going...

Didn't that squirrel know about your upset tummy? How rude of him! HA HA!

Our tummies have been upset over here too. It's just that time of year, right?

glad the re-no-bakes worked, hooray! Mine set up after a day of drying out, so I'm happy too.

sorry about the squirrel. I would have come with big leather gloves if I'd known... even though rodents scare me too ;o) glad he got free. If he learns not to bug your birdfeeder, that's worthwhile...

I've lost my rodentophobia since owning cavies. I would have come to your rescue!

Being a sock knitter, did you know about Sock Wars? Just curious.

I'm glad your cookies turned out after all!

I hate when I don't know what to do in circumstances such as the squirrel incident. One time my dog found a nest of rabbits and brought two baby rabbits in his mouth right to the back door wanting to bring them in. I thought they were mice at first, I'm so greatful my dh was home. If he wasn't home, I don't know what I would have done. After yelling at him to "drop" ( and thankfully the dog obedyed) we saw that they were indeed baby bunnies. One dead, one half alive.
We were able to find the nest and protect it for a few months and we watched the other 4 bunnies grow and hop around the yard. The mother would come and feed her babies at dusk and we would watch from inside the house. Eventually they left the nest and ventured out on their own.
I don't know what I would have done in your squirrel incident. I'm glad he was able to free himself, what a relief!
