....heeere am I sitting in my tin can.... far above the world....

yeah, I'm in my tin trailer in front of my computer getting fat and lazy "and there's nothing I can do"... I think it's the right song to describe me. And now it's playing in my RIMH. Maybe that will motivate me to do something else.

once the church newsletter's done, anyways. And the book. Yeah. Oh, and those emails I need to answer... sigh.

Keep on keepin on! Good for you for making the effort-- that's more than I'm doing. I keep telling myself that "one of these days" I will quit coffee, begin regular exercise, and eat a little better, but the day never comes.

RYC on my blog-- I'm kind of decorating-challenged too, actually. The mantle is about the extent of it. We've been in our house 2-1/2 years, and despite all my great intentions to frame favorite family photos and create a lovely and pleasing arrangement and blah blah blah, I still pretty much just hang the same old pictures we had up at the old house-- and I hang them on the nails left by the previous owners... Anyway, I decided that a mantle (something I didn't have at the old house) was doable and not likely to overwhelm my fragile brain connections, and I was actually right. Taking a pic of each season's mantle helps, too. I'm hoping my 'success" w/the mantle eventually will spread to other areas of the house.

If it makes you feel better... I finally got around to making some scarecrows for my front porch around the very end of October, and there they stayed until well into February. And the only things decorating my front door are a Sunday school paper and a plethora of smudges.

It's a faith thing for me. I have to have faith that what I'm doing is working (maybe on the inside?) when I don't see the amazing, glorious results on the outside. Of course, now that I'm mere weeks away from 50, it's even slower going. Two pounds used to take me a week, now it's more like a month. Cheat once? All bets are off.
