Everything shut down while Jules and I were in our room and not only did the darkness descend on us but also the awful sound of silence.... That is until we hear the small chirping of one of the little boys squeal, "Mom... Dad..." at which point we grabbed and lit a candle for them to be comforted with. We were bombarded with the awful silence until about 2:30am. Something made the dog we are housing outside wake up and bark, which in turn woke us up. I got up and told him to shut his pie hole, walked back into the room and VOILA! The magic of constant noise came back... Wow... I kinda wrote a blog here.
