Oh, in case you're wondering, yes, I'm still pooped from last week. Or maybe it was the not going to bed early. Or the getting up early to try to get my time in my Bible and prayer and exercise...

Oh I can't wait to see the before and after pictures! We just got a new roof and eaves ourselves. Next we need a new front and a new back door. I was excited about the roof though Kim, because we really needed one! But I know what you mean, we have a leaky basement, it's not that bad but still it's another expense to fork out that isn't for something pretty. Something pretty like that gorgeous huge round mirror I saw just recently that would look wonderful in the dinning room. You'll love it when the painting is done. Everything will look nice and fresh and new!

You definitely do not want the clippy inside grill things. I had those in our old house and they were a major pain. Especially when you wanted to clean the windows.

Yeah, roofs are one of those things that you spend $10K on and it doesn't raise the value of your house because the house is supposed to have a decent roof. We replaced all 30 of our single paned/weighted windows a few years ago. It did make a big difference in the winter... no wind in the living room, for example.

You're right about painting being the exciting part of the project. It's very rewarding to see a new color on the wall.
