Who Watches The Watchers?

In my home today:

Windows going in ... little boys watching ... (sorry Kerri, no suit today)

Zucchini bread and muffins, thanks to my friend Sarah's gift of a giant zucchini

And ~most exciting of all~ Sputnik found a cicada just molted from it's shell -- click the images to see the bigger size at Flickr:

I remember when we got windows in our basement. One of our children was just amazed that we were letting this unknown (to him) man cut a big hole in our wall!

We got new windows this year. And the little boys loved having those guys around working with all those cool tools.

Your cicada pics are cool too. Valerie posted some on her blog too. They got to see it molting. I've never even seen one before, let alone a molting one. Too cool.

So THAT's what that ugly brown thing was! It just sat there for the longest time, then it was gone. I figured a bird ate it.

What a coincidence. I just now read your blog about the cicada, and yesterday when Risa was here she found in my yard the molted shell of a cicada and dug a small plastic case out of the waste basket that I had thrown away so she could put the shell in that and take it with her!
